March 9, 2026. Monterey, CA. Come out and celebrate some beloved St. Patrick’s Day traditions on Old Fisherman’s Wharf this year.
From 6 pm to 7 pm on St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, enjoy the beautiful sound of the bagpipes when talented Bagpiper Kasie Talbot performs on the Wharf. Kasie Talbot has been playing the Great Highland bagpipes for 14 years and has been performing weekly at the Inn at Spanish Bay since 2019. She has performed with the Monterey Bay Pipe Band in competition, and in solo competition was promoted to Grade III by the Western United States Pipe Band Association. She is the first bagpiper in her family and is from Utah.
Also, on St. Patrick’s Day, several Old Fisherman’s Wharf restaurants will feature some delicious dinner specials. Café Fina will feature Traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage that day. Old Fisherman’s Grotto will feature Classic Guinness Glazed Corned Beef and Cabbage, as well as Traditional Irish Soda Bread and Green Beer.
Carousel Candies will feature Chocolate Mint Fudge and Lime Salt Water Taffy, plus St. Patrick’s Day Caramel Gourmet Fancy Apples.
